Hats Off to Summer Style

So I've been going back and forth trying to decide whether or not I wanted to include fashion posts on the Spectrum, and I've come to the conclusion that yes, yes I do! I realized that I enjoy fashion as a creative outlet just as much as any of the other genres I feature on here so why not? Plus, The Headwear Association's "Hat Day in the Sun" in Boston gave me the kick start that I needed... 

On June 20th, the company distributed free hats nationwide to promote the awareness of sun protection. As the Queen of Sunblock, I'm a huge advocate of sun protection. And, as a girl who loves to get dolled up, I'm a huge advocate of the wide brim summer hat! For me, this free hat promotion was the perfect combo! When we found out about it, my coworkers and I made our way over to Copley Square to scoop up our goods!

Something about these big ole hats make you feel like you're in another place, in another time. A place where you can't help but smile because they're just so dang fun to wear!

If you step out into the sunshine in one of these hats, you're sure to steal the spotlight! 

And better yet, those UV rays won't have nothin' on you!
