Salem Photo Shoot + Wedding Save the Dates

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of photographing my friends on a beautiful street in Salem, MA for their wedding save-the-dates. And, now that they've all been mailed and have reached their intended recipients, I can finally share them with you!

I met Abby my freshman year in college and we became fast friends. The following year, my roommate and I joined forces with Abby and her roommate, and we became suitemates. We have all stayed wonderful friends ever since. Years later, when Abby met her now fiance Katie, she blended with the group seamlessly. I think I can speak for all of our friends when I say how happy we are to have her!

When Abby and Katie asked if I would photograph them and then design their save-the-dates, I was so happy to say yes! With the help of our makeup artist friend Ali, and a couple of old books, the shoot was a huge success. I decided to use the books as props in the shoot because both of the girls are teachers, and I thought it would add something personal. Then, to connect to the book theme, I designed the save-the dates as bookmarks. We were all really happy with how everything turned out, and I seriously can't wait for this wedding!
