There's no denying it, I'm really feeling the pressure to get my holiday shopping done and my gifts all wrapped. I love everything about giving gifts at Christmastime; thoughtfully planning out what I want to get everyone, wrapping everything nicely, and seeing the reaction when the gift is opened. As a crafter, I really enjoy finding unique ways to package my gifts so that they look especially adorable under the Christmas tree.
When Liz of Little Moments of Happiness asked if I would share a DIY on her blog, I knew it was the perfect time for a holiday themed project. I've been seeing a lot of cute Christmas gift wrap ideas lately and wanted to see what I could come up with myself. So today, I'm sharing those ideas with you and the readers of Little Moments of Happiness to give you a little inspiration when you're wrapping your own gifts!
In my present wrapping process, I discovered that a little goes a long way and that sometimes a small embellishment can make a big impact. I love the look of layering string, ribbon, and yarn and find that those possibilities are really endless. When searching for your materials, don't limit yourself to what you find in the craft store (though you can find just about everything there), take a peek at what you have in your own home already. I bet you'd be surprised at what you already own that can be useful. Happy Wrapping!
