Creative Friend Coleen + Giveaway!

Today's Creative Friends segment is a win win! I get to introduce you to my creative friend Coleen Foley, and you get a chance to win one of her prints! Keep reading to find out how!

Coleen and I grew up in the same tight knit neighborhood where we, along with our sisters and other neighborhood friends, spent our childhood playing late night games of Relievio, building snow forts, founding a 'girls only' club, and just having good ole fashioned fun! Back then, if there was a camera around, you'd be sure to find Coleen hamming it up with her wide array of poses (there are pictures to prove it!) But these days, Coleen is more often than not, on the other side of the camera.

Coleen says, "Growing up as the daughter and granddaughter of photographers, I guess it was only a matter of time before a very simple hobby became sort of a passion.  I am a far cry from a professional but I have found that when I capture a great moment, it makes me happy and my dad proud. :-) Living in New England, I have my pick of fantastic photo ops with Mother Nature, and I try and take advantage of that whenever I can. The beach, a harbor, flowers, lighthouses, you name it, if it has to do with New England, I will take a photo. I hope my photos bring other people as much joy hanging in their living room, as much as they bring be when I am out there snapping."

I think Coleen really captures the spirit of New England in her photos, and there is something about them that just makes me want to go on vacation! Every photo in her GingerPics Etsy Shop is definitely frame worthy!

Coleen is offering one lucky Creative Soul Spectrum reader the chance to win one of her 5x7" matted prints! All you have to do is go to her Etsy shop GingerPics, look through her photos, then leave a comment here letting me know which one you would absolutely love
to have in your own home. If you win, that very photo is yours!

One winner will be chosen at random on Friday July, 13th. Good Luck!!!

  8. It was hard to pick because they are all very well done. As I searched for my favorite it was very dificult, but every time I looked them over, something kept drawing me back to the daffodils with the lighthouse in the back. So I guess I will call that my favorite!
Nice job Colleen, you certainly have a gift!!!
